What's new for 2025?
The 2025 Equinox has an updated exterior design that includes all-LED lighting, fender flares, squared-off wheel wells along with a fascia treatment that varies based on the trim level. The new Equinox is 2.3 inches wider than last year's model and it gives Manassas, VA buyers a new 11.3-inch infotainment screen as well as a large digital gauge cluster. The gear shift is now mounted on the steering column and a drive mode selector knob is a helpful feature on RS and ACTIV trims that allows you to select Normal, Snow and Off-Road modes.
The engine and performance
The new Chevy Equinox is equipped with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine and when it includes all-wheel drive, it can produce 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive models can generate 184 pound-feet of torque and they're teamed up with a continuously variable automatic transmission. With all-wheel drive, you'll be driving around Chantilly, VA with an eight-speed automatic and your time to 60 mph will be approximately 8.0 seconds. Interior and exterior highlights
The cabin has quite a bit of room for passengers along with a significant amount of cargo space. The styling is contemporary and Winchester, VA drivers get a nice blend of physical and digital controls. Cloth upholstery comes standard and faux leather is an available upgrade. The top-tier ACTIV model has a mix of vinyl with microfiber and in all trims, the shift lever is mounted on the steering column to allow more storage space in the center console. The new 2025 Chevy Equinox gives you 29.8 cubic feet behind the rear seat and 63.5 cubic feet when the back seat is folded down.

Technology features
For 2025, the Equinox includes a large 11.3-inch infotainment screen that's a significant upgrade from the 7.0- and 8.0-inch displays in the 2024 models. Google technology is built-in and the system comes with Google maps navigation and access to a Wi-Fi hotspot. The new Equinox also comes with a much larger 11.0-inch digital instrument cluster that's positioned in front of the driver, and it can be reconfigured in a number of ways based on your preferences.
Safety features
Standard safety features in the new 2025 Chevy Equinox include a following distance indicator, lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, enhanced automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic braking.
